Endeavor North Design PLLC provided architectural pre-design, code analysis, and construction/permit document services for the renovation of (6) restrooms and (1) laundry room.
Endeavor North Design Build LLC provided general contracting, project and construction management services along with permitting, bidding, and procurement assistance.
The project(s) required a well-coordinated effort as the work was completed from May to August, while school was out of session for the summer. Careful planning and consistent communication with the owners, trade partners, and vendors/suppliers was critical to the success of the project.
Portions of the school are over 80 years old so many of the existing concrete block walls, plumbing, and electrical required updates. Including new doors being added into the concrete block walls.
Schedule management and communication were important in order to deliver the project on an accelerated schedule. Weekly meetings with the trade teams were held and ongoing communication kept the project moving with no downtime. Everyone knew well in advance on when they needed to be on-site for their specific work. Having a jobsite culture of respect and communication created an environment where all parties were aiming for the same end goal.
